Join the Community Arts Council of Kankakee County and the Village of Bradley for all the great food, fun and entertainment at this year’s Strawberry Jazz Festival!  Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 1, 11 am to 4 pm at Northfield Square Mall in Bradley, IL.  Admission is free, so bring the whole family!

 

Entertainment will be provided on three stages featuring local groups like Acting Out Theater and Dance in the Light.  Enjoy top-notch jazz groups like Jazz Time Big Band and The Kings of Dixieland at the Outdoor Stage and smooth jazz from entertainers like Patrick Noland and Inversion Jazz on the Center Court Stage.  Over 80 artists and crafters will be selling original work of all types throughout the Mall and outdoors.  Local non-profits will have information about membership and upcoming events and be sure to stop by the Friends of the Kankakee Library’s annual book sale.  An indoor  Kids’ Zone will let your child explore their creativity with art and craft activities and the popular Dime Toss  will be outdoors.

Popular local food truck vendors will offer covered seating, serving summer favorites and offering specialty strawberry items.  Make your way to Center Court to purchase fresh strawberries and chocolate-covered strawberries.
