President & CEO


President & CEO, Kelsey Post, was raised in Kankakee County and graduated from Herscher High School in 2017. She then went on to Kankakee Community College to obtain her Associates Degree. Kelsey then transferred to Illinois State University and graduated in 2020 with her Bachelors in Public Relations. After graduation, Kelsey worked for the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce as the Marketing and Membership Director. She then moved into the Staffing industry starting as a Recruiter and working up to a Business Developer. Kelsey has now returned to her roots and looks forward to leading the Chamber. Courtney Meredith

 

Marketing & Membership Coordinator


Marketing and Membership Coordinator, Courtney Meredith was born and raised in Herscher IL where she still resides with her husband, Dale, two sons, Cooper and Grayson, and German Shepherd, Kizer. Courtney graduated from Herscher High School and then attended Lewis University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications and Business Administration. Since graduating in 2003, Courtney has gained extensive experience in marketing, event planning and the financial industry. In her free time, she can usually be found cheering on her sons in baseball, golf, hockey or basketball, reading or lounging by her pool.

Jennifer Bustos

 

Operations & Events Coordinator


A lifelong Kankakee County resident, Jennifer earned her Associate in Applied Science in Business from Kankakee Community College. She previously served as a marketing intern with Visit Kankakee County, gaining valuable experience promoting local businesses, events, and attractions while building a strong foundation in community outreach. She also continues to serve as the Off-Site Market Coordinator for the Kankakee Farmers' Market, a role that supports local vendors and strengthens connections throughout the county.

This role is more than a career opportunity—it's a chance to invest in the place that helped shape who she is. She enjoys meeting new people, building lasting relationships, and working alongside local businesses and community partners to help Kankakee County continue to grow and thrive When she's not working, you'll likely find her trying a new hobby, cooking, or spending time with her family and her miniature dachshund, Lola.
