Ashley Villarreal

President & CEO

Born and raised in Kankakee County, Ashley graduated from  

BBCHS and went on to study at Olivet Nazarene University.  

She earned her Communication Studies degree in 2006 and  

a Master’s in Organizational Leadership in 2008. Ashley has  

worked in non-profit fundraising and events for 15 years. As  

President & CEO she looks forward to leading the KCCC  

to unite businesses and create a better business community  

through networking, collaborations, cooperative marketing

Angelica Sherer

Marketing & Events Coordinator

Marketing and Events Coordinator, Angelica Sherer, graduated with her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts and Communications from Western Illinois University. Some of Angelica’s involvement on campus include being a Resident Hall Assistant, a Western Leader Ambassador, the winner and coordinator for the Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant, a member of the Preeminent Ladies Society, and a Sports Club Assistant/Office Assistant for the WIU Campus Recreation Center. Angelica will be responsible for improving and maintaining the KCCC’s social media presence and coordinating all events.

Amber Bramer

Membership Coordinator

Growing up in the area, Amber graduated from BBCHS.

Amber has extensive experience in Membership through

the Kankakee Area YMCA. She has continuously volunteered in the

Kankakee County area throughout the years.

Currently she is Cheer Director for the Bradley Lions Youth Football

organization.  Amber will be responsible for new members,

membership renewals and retention of current members and
