Enlightened Healing Partners with Local Advocate and Businesses to Support Child Network

Bourbonnais, IL — July 18, 2025 Enlightened Healing, led by Laura Marie Platt and Amy Craver, teamed up with their friend Jen Lovell, a volunteer and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) at Child Network, to raise funds and awareness for this vital organization.

On June 20, during the Summer Solstice, guests gathered for an intimate riverfront evening featuring a four-course dinner by The Traveling Chef and a silent auction supported by local businesses. Contributors included: Dress Well Boutique, Nicole Marie Salon, Sacred Seventh HeadSpa, Amy’s Healing Heart, Pinski Dermatology, Enlightened Healing, Align Light Yoga, Laura Marie Spiritual Medium, Halfway to Dead Podcast, Organize with Marcy, Purple Paws Reiki and more.

“Each year, as a small business, we look for ways to give back to the community,” said Laura of Enlightened Healing. “This year, we were honored to create an evening that celebrated the solstice while supporting children in need through Child Network.”

Kristin Jackson, Executive Director of Child Network, shared: *“I believe everyone deserves a happy childhood free from abuse and neglect, and I am grateful to play a part in ensuring this is the case for our community's children.”*

Thanks to the generosity of guests and donors, the event raised $2,241 for Child Network’s mission of advocating for the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
