Dear Chamber Members,

Following the severe weather in our area, we wanted to share several resources that may be helpful as our community continues recovery efforts.

For the most up-to-date information from Emergency Response, the Sheriff’s Department, and the County Board, we encourage members to follow the County Board’s Facebook page, where they will be sharing timely updates, safety information, and response efforts.

We are also passing along information and resources from the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO), along with additional resources that may assist businesses and residents who may have been impacted.

Response and recovery coordination is being handled through the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, and Office of Homeland Security and local emergency management partners, and formal damage assessments and disaster declarations can take some time to unfold.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a few public resources that may be helpful for residents, businesses, and local leaders as recovery efforts begin.
