Village of Bourbonnais Announces Lineup of Fall Events at The Grove
BOURBONNAIS, IL. — The Village of Bourbonnais is keeping the fun going this fall with a full lineup of community events at The Grove. From live music and outdoor dining to yoga, movies and Halloween festivities, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of events throughout the season.
The fall season kicks off with Lunchtime Bites & Beats, continuing throughout September
on Festival Street. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy live acoustic music while grabbing lunch and spending their midday break outdoors.
The Village will close out another successful summer concert season on Friday, September 18, with the final Fridays @fter 5, featuring The Blooze Brothers. Food trucks and beverages will be available beginning at 5 p.m., with the concert kicking off at 6 p.m. and going until 9 p.m.. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for one last evening of live music at The Grove.
The Grove will light up on Monday, September 28, for Glowga with Soul Moon Studio. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., participants can enjoy a unique evening yoga experience and will receive free glow-in-the-dark swag while supplies last.
Fall fun continues into October with Dinner & Movie on the Green on Friday, October 9, featuring Wicked: For Good. Food trucks will begin serving at 6 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the outdoor movie experience.
The Village of Bourbonnais is excited to host Kankakee County’s first-ever Game Day at The Grove on Sunday, October 11, as the Chicago Bears take on the Green Bay Packers! Attendees will have the opportunity to reserve their own tailgate spot at The Grove, bring their grills and game-day setups, and enjoy the ultimate community tailgate experience before watching the big game together on The Grove’s massive 16-by-20-foot screen.
Halloween festivities begin on Wednesday, October 14, with the Safety Town Trick or Treat Spooktacular with KANCOMM from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at Safety Town, located next to The Grove playground at 777 Stratford Drive, and will offer families a fun opportunity to celebrate Halloween and learn about safety from first responders and organizations in the community.
On Wednesday, October 21, The Grove will welcome a brand-new fall event, Witches Night Out. The evening will feature more than 30 Halloween and fall-themed vendors, readings, libations, a costume contest, acoustic music by Molly Adamson and more. Guests are invited to gather their favorite girls and ghouls for an evening of shopping, entertainment and fall fun under the autumn sky.
The season wraps up on Saturday, October 31, with Howl-O-Ween, a pet-friendly Halloween celebration and parade at The Grove from 10 a.m. to noon. Pet owners and their
four-legged friends can enjoy photo opportunities, shopping, a food truck and the grand pet parade. Pups are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best for a chance to win the costume contest.

Trick-or-Treating within the village will take place on Saturday, October 31st from 5 –8p.m.
