Prospective students can learn about Kankakee Community College during an Explore KCC Day on Wednesday, July 9.

The event will be noon - 2 p.m.

Explore KCC Day offers information on KCC options, including specific details for those who already have a program in mind. There also will be tours of various academic spaces, plus information about support services, financial aid and how to enroll.

KCC is located at 100 College Drive in Kankakee.

The college is planning two more Explore KCC Days this fall: Monday, Oct. 13; and Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Kankakee Community College is an accredited two-year college which awards associate degrees and certificates of completion. KCC prepares students both to transfer to four-year colleges and to enter the workforce. The college also offers continuing education courses and certification training, literacy programs, English as a Second Language and GED preparation.
