Tammy is a proud Kankakee County native whose deep roots in the community have shaped both her personal and professional journey. A graduate of Kankakee High School, she ventured beyond her hometown to pursue higher education but was ultimately drawn back by her strong family ties and a desire to give back to the place that helped shape who she is today. Tammy firmly believes in the power of local connection and is passionate about contributing to the continued growth and vitality of Kankakee County.

Since joining Milner Media Partners in July 2017, Tammy has developed a deep appreciation for the impact of local media. Her dedication and leadership led her to steadily rise through the organization, culminating in her promotion to President & General Manager in January 2024. With a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Western Illinois University, Tammy brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to her work—emphasizing collaboration, development, and the strength of community-driven success.

In January 2025, Tammy joined the Board of the Kankakee County Chamber, where she works alongside other community leaders to support local businesses and advance initiatives that foster regional development. Outside the office, Tammy enjoys exploring local nature trails, reading, and watching soccer—especially when her son is on the field or when she’s cheering on the Chicago Fire.
