Village of Bourbonnais Launches My BourbonnAid Mobile App New digital tool provides residents with a convenient way to connect
Bourbonnais, IL – The Village of Bourbonnais will officially launch My BourbonnAid, its new mobile app and online service request platform, Thursday, October 1. Available for Apple and Android devices, the free app provides residents with a convenient, centralized way to submit non-emergency service requests, receive Village alerts and notifications, access community
information and connect with Village departments and services — all from their mobile device.
Designed to make interacting with the Village easier, more transparent and more efficient, My BourbonnAid creates a centralized connection between residents and Village departments. Service requests can be directed to the appropriate department, tracked through resolution and analyzed to help Village staff identify trends, improve response coordination and make more informed decisions about community needs.
In addition to service requests, My BourbonnAid serves as another resource for residents to stay
connected with the community. Users can receive Village alerts and notifications, view upcoming events and community information, access Village news, services and resources and quickly
locate contact information for Village departments and elected officials.
“My BourbonnAid gives our residents another direct and convenient way to connect with their local government,” said Bourbonnais Mayor Jeff Keast. “Whether someone wants to report an issue in their neighborhood, find information about an upcoming event or simply stay informed, this new tool puts Village resources right at their fingertips. We’re excited to continue finding new ways to make local government more accessible and responsive to the community we serve.”
Residents may download My BourbonnAid from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store beginning October 1. After downloading the app, users can create an account to submit and track requests and customize the notifications they would like to receive.
Downloading the mobile app is not required to use the new communication tool. Residents who prefer to access My BourbonnAid from a computer or mobile web browser can use the online platform through the Village of Bourbonnais website. The Village will also continue to accept
questions and service requests through its existing communication channels.
