Dear Community Partners,

Please include WGFA and The Buckle on your media distribution list for news releases, public safety updates, closures, sports scores, schedule changes, and other community announcements.

Social media is a valuable tool, but sending official information directly to local media helps reach a broader audience and supports accurate, timely reporting. We welcome updates from schools, government offices, emergency services, businesses, and community organizations. We are happy to help prepare a press release.

Please share information through any of these channels:
 Email: 941fm@wgfaradio.com
 Toll-free voicemail: 866-820-9494
 Business phone: 815-432-4955 , Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
 Fax: 815-432-4957

We welcome results from all sporting events, including those we do not broadcast. Please include the final score and winning team, one to three statistical leaders with first and last names, and overall/conference records. If your school is adjusting details to a game that we're airing on WGFA or The Buckle (start time, opponent, etc), please send us notice as
soon as possible in advance.

If your school has a JV game before the expected airtime of
our coverage that finishes extremely early for any reason (20-30 minutes), we cannot move up our broadcast time.

Thank you for helping WGFA and The Buckle keep our communities informed.

Sincerely,
Carl Gerdovich, News Director
Andy Moore, Sports Director
